About Kahika

Kahika Bistro is on the ground floor of the Meerumaa building on Violet Magu: a calm, cosy corner of Malé.

The kitchen serves Maldivian breakfasts of mashuni and roshi alongside waffles and pancakes, then pastas, rice dishes, burgers, wraps and pizzas through the day. The coffee is brewed from locally roasted single-origin beans, and there is cold-brewed raspberry iced tea and a selection of teas to linger over. Guests come back for the warm, attentive service and the generous portions.

Kahika was created by the founders of Meerumaa Events, and it also opens for private celebrations, from birthdays to family get-togethers.
